Since 2017, the number of U.S. private companies valued in excess of $1 billion has increased nearly fivefold to more than 700, while the number of public companies has declined to fewer than 5,000.
We believe the biggest gains in the future will come from companies that are involved in fixing the fundamental risks that come from our interconnected global order while reinforcing American exceptionalism.
